State of the Characters Address

I think after all the changes being talked about and shown, I think its time to deliver a speech about what exactly is going on, to end all the confusion. Im gunna break it down one character at a time, to explain the problems and the changes that followed.

Marie the Fox

Marie's design as a chubby red fox, was starting to look a bit plain, all she wore was that green bandanna and those odd looking sandals. In response I added a top and bottom in a similar style as Aurora's and it worked somewhat, she looked cute, but overall I was getting a bit disinterested in making her fat, it never caught on like Auroras in my heart. I pictured her as a girl with smallish breasts but big hips.

Is it the end all solution to Marie? hardly, my other view of her was a biggish girl, not chubby but plump. So its a matter of trying to find which one I like best. Her new outfit featuring the confederate flag is gonna stay no matter what her size. The dixie flag could be substituted with a plain beige color if certain close friends of mine take offense to it.

Aurora the Wolf

Aurora, the most successful of all my character designs in my opinion. I have no desire to really change anything on Aurora, I love her top and skirt, and her lil' armor thingies. The decision between Chubby and Regular, well I originally saw Aurora as just a big girl, tall, having big breasts and hips. Not really amazon size, but above average size. When Aurora went chubby it really worked, and I'm really leaning towards keeping her chubby. It was cute, and Aurora just doesnt have the effect and look im going for when shes not chubby. Shes a shy girl whos very caring and motherly.

Inuk the Husky

Being a new character, he's not getting any major redesign or overhaul, I made him with a design I like, and he will stay.

Jon Lupus

Here's were the problems begin. Jon Lupus is a very old design, I haven't been really fond of where he was heading. I didn't like his older meaner look, the cute look ended up getting too cute to the point of him getting way to babyish. Making him fat didn't help matters either. It's safe to say he will be out of service for a bit till I can finalize a good design and look for him. I need to spend time reevaluating him inside and out.

Character Issues

as it stands now, theres only two characters i dont have a problem wiht on my own lineup, Aurora the Wolf, and Inuk the Husky, Talia the Fennec Fox i dont like, and Jon and Marie have gotten to be just too distant from me, theyre just too one sided and shallow, it seems like they can only show a very narrow range of emotions

Im really thinking about reinventing myself, going back and taking the characters i have and really updating them givign them fresh new looks, and to stop holding onto the past with them. As for socially, unless youre a close friend of mine, you probably wont see me much since ill be phasing in all new fursonas and stuff, and im not going to publically annoucne the exact details of the change.

Other things that will be going, Talia Ahlzar, I dislike her the most, as ive moved on, and anything she stood for in the past doesnt mean anything to me today, same thing witht hat old jon lupus look where he was some thug with too much eyeshadow on.

The other thing that I regret to announce its days are numbered is The Fox Forums, it is the last remenant of the Tails fansite that was known as Mystic Fox which closed down in 2005. The forum remained since it was still popular but its time has long gone, and its up there as an empty shell of its former self. Attempts to make it geared towards the mystic fox series failed to attract any more people. I thank all of you who stood by the site in its good tiems and its bad times, but its time has come to lay it to rest. I have made many friends from this forum that I cherish, and I will still keep in touch with everyone on aim and msn. Unless I really see the site get popular and active again, The Fox Forums will be closing September 1 2007.

Future Story Ideas

I have a story idea I'm slowly developing, it will be another romance story, this time focusing more on Jon Lupus and a new husky character. I don't have a lot of the details down yet since I still have to think em up. But it will be in the same style as the rest of the Mystic Fox series.

Another plan I have is to do a webcomic adaptation of Mystic Fox - Where freindship Begins, storylinewise its the first story in the series.

Las Vegas Trip Report

On August 4th, I returned from a week in Las Vegas and the southwest. I arrived in Vegas July 27th very late at night due to flights being delayed. For the first 3 days we stayed in the Paris Las Vegas. It was a nice hotel, but it smelled too much of ciggaretes. We had a great room overlooking the Bellagio. Last monday we left Vegas to go to the Crand Canyon, and Bryce and Zion Parks, Wednesday we returned to Vegas at the Luxor where we had two rooms, a 1 bedroom suite where my parents stayed and me and my brother had a regular room that was connected.

Highlights of the Trip

- The buffet at the Rio was excellent, had lotsa sushi and sashimi, as well as other great stuff, and its all u can eat!

- The secret garden in the Mirage with the wild cats

- The Luxor, that place is the best hotel ive ever stayed at. Its just so cool.

Cheezy points

- Treasure Island show, it was just too cheezy.

- Atlantis thing in sneazers palace

The trip was great except for the fact I got sick on the last day Im still recovering and I hope to be all better tomorrow.
